IP-LE

IP-LE are designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of locomotive electronic equipment and prevent their failure by stabilizing the supply voltage, filtering pulse interference, galvanic isolation of consumers from the primary supply circuits. The power supply has two inputs, is connected to two points of the on-board network – to the battery and to the battery charging unit. The product remains operational, both in the presence of voltage at both inputs, and in the absence of voltage at one of them. Power sources are placed in the driver’s cabin of a locomotive or electric train.

The main advantage of IP-LE is the use of multiphase conversion technology that provides redundancy. This technology is based on the use of several low-power controlled IP operating in parallel for a total load (usually from 3 and above). When any of the low-power IP fails, the performance of the system as a whole is not violated, which dramatically increases the reliability of the system and allows you to set the average operating time for failure of at least 40 thousand hours.

USPD – basic model on Thyristor switch

USPD-E is a soft–start device with an option to save electricity. If there is an increased voltage in the power net, it will automatically reduce it to required, protecting it from overheating and excessive power consumption

USPD-K – modification with a built-in bypass (shunt contactor). The bypass contactor is designed for  shunting power thyristors after the end of the start. The use of a shunt contactor allows you to reduce heat generation, unload power thyristors, and reduce power  losses.

USPD-IGB – modification on IGBT drivers.
