The controller performs the following functions:
- blocking the simultaneous activation of traffic lights allowing traffic in conflicting directions (green control);
- monitoring of the circuits breakage of traffic lights prohibiting signals with automatic transfer of the traffic light alarm to the LM mode (red control);
- automatic transition to the LM mode with simultaneous activation of the enabling and prohibiting signals of the same direction;
- protection of the output power circuits from overloads and short circuits, followed by the transfer of the traffic light object to the shutdown mode (OS mode);
- overload and short circuit protection for each power output, followed by blocking the activation of this signal;
- event logging, which records all changes in the normal operating modes, as well as emergency and emergency situations, including power outages at the facility
